I thought I would kick off my blog talking about the South Cost Summit. I always enjoy learning new things, especially when it comes to technology.
The weekend of learning started on Friday with the workshop on Hyper Automaton presneted by Tomasz Poszytek, it was great learning all things Power Automate Cloud & Desktop, with AI Builder. Whilst I have a vast experience in Power Automate Cloud, I didn’t realise the potential of the Power Automate Desktop and them combined together. AI Builder is an amazing tool. I will share some insights about all these products in future blogs.
Saturday consists of a full day of so much learning from so many great sessions from:
- Dona Sarkar Keith Whatling – Keynote – Covering all aspects of the reason why all do what we do and craze of AI. Very inspiring.
- Andrew Welch & Ana Welch – Strategic Thinking for the Microsoft Cloud
- Luke Smith – Identity-Driven Security and Compliance – A World Without VPNs
- Christopher Pond & Sam Graber – Redefining Work: Beyond Paychecks and Cogs
- Laura Webb – Finding my place and my value in this community
- Onyinye Madubuko – From Burnout to Balance: How Microsoft Viva Can Help Employees Thrive
- Leon Godwin – A Cost-Effective Approach to Scalable and Secure AI Solutions
- Sara Fennah – Harmonising Microsoft Viva, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Loop
- AJ Zafar, Chris Huntingford 🚀, Rory Neary & William Dorrington 🤘 – Get Empowered: The Ultimate Guide to Microsoft Power Platform and Citizen Development
Great weekend of insights and a lot taken away from the event either put into practice immediately or the near future. Looking forward to the Scottish Summit next year.
